A little wall

They are still getting things ready to lower the house. They had to build this little wall on top of the other wall because of the way the house was constructed.
They are attaching boards to the house where the walls will meet the house. This is so they can attach the house to the new walls.
An interesting thing about this wall is there is a window pane in it. It is covered by the siding on the outside of the house and by drywall on the inside of the house. We don't know why it is there. We only know it's there because we had to remove the drywall after we were flooded. Now that we are above flood level it may never be seen again.
